As much as the death of Malcolm McLaren has affected all of us, another death will occur this will be the death of my radio show here on Fleet FM. I’ve decided to pull the plug on my own show after 3 or 4 odd years of late night service to those die hard fans of The Blah Blah Blah radio show. Things have certainly changed for me over the past couple of months and I acquired new priorities such as our new digital label Mail Fraud Recordings and the continuing saga which is Nerdy Frames.

I honestly thought that I could incorporate what I did with the Blah Blah Blah show into what we did over at Nerdy Frames, but I found a serious disconnect with its relationship and the only was I can see fit for both Nerdy Frames and Mail Fraud to truly progress is to make do without our radio show. If you know what I went through to get there, then you’ll understand.

This is in no way a cheap cop out due to the closure of Fleet FM, I just ran out of juice to do the show and I guess Auckland’s dance music scene is not going to have a foul mouthed DJ who writes for a even mouthy blog to be apart of its elite, but hey fuck them and fuck the scene forever. It’s sad that I’m not there to announce the show’s end, but I really needed to be away from Fleet FM and let my mind be at ease.

Where to from here you say? Well I’m going to work on my electronic label and put out the best in electronic music, I think I found my calling.

To Adrian thanks for being the best friend that a guy could ever have and thank you for everything, and I mean everything. Jamie Connor……you’re an alright cunt to me my friend and I thank you for making the best radio station that Auckland should be super proud of!

And the rest of you, I wish you all the best in whatever you do.

Today IS my VERY LAST SHOW, theaats right kiddies wah wah n bye fer now! & in true Doctor Hollandz form I is goin out with a fricken bang narry nae fecken whimpy… I’s paid me money (sometimes) and took me fricken ride OK OK?
