Hello Fleet DJs!

To set up or join a show blog contact admin@fleetfm.com
Specify if you want a blog or just a username.
Once you have signed up - you can be added to any show blog via the admin panel (by the initial blog user - the person who initially set up the blog - or by contacting admin@fleetfm.com)

COPYRIGHT POLICY - Posting links to files on another host/server is ok
eg, zshare.net, megaupload.com, yousendit.com, fireshare etc…
- But please do not upload copyright files to the fleet blogs unless you have written permission from the author/publisher. This warning comes from the webhost - they aren’t interested in defending any illegal distribution cases. They will just shut us down immediately - no questions asked.

    Podcasts

  • A podcast is part of a blog post (similar to an attachment)
  • When creating/writing a post, below the main window you’ll see a Podcasting section. This is where you can add media files (usually mp3 audio - but can be video).
  • The “Location” is the full address of the mp3 that you want to podcast. Note: your mp3 must already be online. All automated show recordings are in this directory http://audio.substep.com/fleetfm
  • Save the post
  • People can now subscribe to your podcast feed - future shows can be set to download automatically by their music player.

    Themes

  • If you want a different theme for your blog
    - find a wordpress theme you like, send me a link to it and i’ll upload it for you.

    Video embedding

  • Youtube, Google video etc…
    Just paste the embed code (make sure you change to code view first)
